Client Profile: A Hong Kong–based SME operating a single-location, small-scale dishwashing services facility.

Engagement Need: Upstream partners requested credible carbon footprint figures and supporting documentation to satisfy ESG/sustainability supplier requirements.

EcoVision Scope of Services

1. Requirement Scoping & Boundary Setting
EcoVision ran a kickoff session to confirm the upstream partners’ submission format, reporting period, and required footprint boundary. We defined the organizational and operational boundaries for the site and confirmed relevant emission scopes for the service operation.

2. Data Collection & Validation
We provided a structured data request list and user-friendly templates covering electricity use (washing equipment, drying, lighting), fuel use (if any), refrigerants (if applicable), water consumption, detergents/chemicals, waste handling, and transport activities linked to service delivery.

EcoVision reviewed utility bills, purchase records, and operating logs, then performed reasonableness checks and follow-up interviews to close data gaps.

3. Carbon Footprint Calculation
EcoVision developed the corporate GHG inventory using the GHG Protocol Corporate Standard, applying suitable emission factors aligned with credible international and local references (e.g., grid electricity factors and recognized databases for fuels and materials, where applicable). Emissions were categorized by source with transparent assumptions and calculation workings.

4. Supplier Submission Pack
We delivered a concise reporting pack ready for partner review, including:

- Total tCO₂e and intensity indicators (e.g., per service volume)
- Methodology and boundary statement
- Data quality notes, exclusions, and limitations
- Source-by-source emission breakdown for discussion with procurement teams

5. Improvement Roadmap & Training
EcoVision identified key reduction opportunities (energy efficiency, equipment scheduling, hot-water optimization, chemical use efficiency, and waste reduction) and produced a practical 12‑month action plan.
We also trained staff to maintain an annual footprint file to speed up future ESG requests.

The client secured a defensible baseline carbon footprint with partner-ready documentation, improved internal data discipline, and a realistic pathway to reduce emissions and strengthen supply-chain credibility.
